At fifteen Addalyn was supposed to be celebrating her birthday with her parents at her favourite place - their mountainside cottage. Instead she watched her parents die in a tragic accident. From that moment she spent her life running away from her past and hiding from the world. Until she meets Reina, a light in the darkness that has followed her.

 

Now, with a bright future ahead of her it’s time to move on. She decides to replace the sadness and grief she feels at the cottage with some happy memories before saying goodbye to it forever. Addalyn, along with her twin brother, and his boyfriend, are taking Reina to the cottage she grew up in. However, what is supposed to be a fun-filled weekend quickly turns into a disaster, and when Addalyn wakes up in a hospital bed with everyone she cares about dead, she begins to question her reality.
